Maybe it’s the super simple menu. You don’t have wingnuts in line ahead of you making prolonged decision making like they’re buying a house.

Please dont encourage them as they will see the need to raise prices AGAIN by another 35%.
Depends if they give another 10 million to Biden before the election

A Canes chicken tender + Canes Sauce = a winning flavor. That's' why people frequent the place.
Beyond that service is top shelf, other products are solid, and the joints are well maintained.
If others are doing it better, maybe they should take a page out of the Canes business model.

In effect, you are suggesting that Todd Graves goes down the Roberto Goizueta route with the same possible outcome.

The sauce isn’t even that good
Not to mention another big selling point is you always get hot, fresh, crispy 100% chicken. You don't get that from Tyson's frozen chicken.

the only thing adding different menu items will do is increase wait times and the one thing Cane's prides itself on is quick service like you used to get back in the day at McDonalds and other fast food places

I was wondering the same thing.
I don't get the appeal of the place. The one in Lake Charles always has a line of cars spilling out onto the road, blocking the lane of travel.
It's just okay to me. The sauce is good, I'll give them that and the lemonade is good, the service is good but the reason you went there (the chicken) is always just okay. It's not too salty, it's not too peppery, it's just okay.
The tenders at Popeyes are much better but then you have to deal with the service at Popeyes when they ask you to pull forward and sit there for 20 minutes.

Typical thread. People who say they don't eat there because they have such elevated tastes, knocking any place that is popular, such connoisseurs, though they were raised on bologna sandwiches.
If you don't like Cane's, don't eat there. Simple enough.

Fully agree. Canes without the sauce are bland. Canes + Sauce is a winning combo.
Popeyes spicy needs not a sauce crutch. Canes does.

Definitely better than the tasteless stuff Cane's serves.
