If you google "corner pub green hills" you'll see they've been at it with the mayor and the whole overblown reaction to the virus.
No QR codes to scan with your phone for a menu, no paper throw-away menus, no masks and extra long PLASTIC STRAWS.
Four 60+ aged women sitting at that table at the top of the pic and we were all having a damn nice time.
Might be the most normal restaurant in middle TN right now.

How did that FREEDOM taste? Woo carry it to the kitchen and take it to those health dept marxists with their salmonella hysteria!

We’re only a generation or two removed from storming the beaches at Normandy to protect freedom. Now people post on the internet about using a straw and menu at a restaurant like they just saved America.
Excuse me while I go kill myself.

This has been running thru my mind recently. Rationing, buying war bonds, planting victory gardens, saving tinfoil and metal scraps....WWII generation worked for the good of the whole, regardless of their own personal comfort. We’ve lost that spirit, for sure.

The sad thing is I kept waiting for protestors to show up and scream at us.

I mean I too enjoy dining in restaurants
But "frick yeah, real laminated menus!" isn't really something I've contemplated.
