You can get pretty good salsa in the refrigerated section in Brookshires and Kroger. I imagine it has a lot to do with shelf life because once it is opened it does not last long.

I don't really think it's terrible - it's just a different product than fresh salsa.
When you can it, you have to heat process it so the flavor is different.

HEB is good and I also like On the Border salsa.

so if preserving is the problem, why not take fresh salsa and jar it in the old school mason jar method? it would be good on the shelf for a year i would imagine

Texas at HEB or Kroger.
I was at Randall's in Houston last week.
Cashier asks if I got my Randall's card on me
I said I'm from Baton Rouge
He said it's called Albertsons there
I said, "Really"
He says, "no shite"
customers just looking at him

No love here for Mama Renfros?
Or as we say in my house, Mother Renfros.

She was loved by Papa Renfro. But not as much as he loved his whores.

I would love to hear some of your worldly opinion on how Pace is so bad and you make something SO much better.
