Why does the TJ Tibs ad on the wall at the Box say Lafayette location opening soon?

They announced they’re coming to the upper Lafayette area over a year ago then never broke ground or anything on a building. Not sure why the logo on the wall at Alex box says they’re opening in Lafayette soon.

Any insiders?

Lord knows they need it. The BBQ scene in lafy is literally non-existent.

Even if TJ Ribs does open in Lafayette, the BBQ scene will still be non-existent.

Well if we’re being that distinct, then the bbq scene in the entire state of Louisiana is basically non existent.

Not true. But there is no way that TJ Ribs should be considered the bell cow for what is considered good BBQ.

Blanchard’s, East Gate, Johnson’s, and Lil Daddy’s are all great BBQ.

TJ ribs is garbage except for the wings.

I'd take Blanchard's over TJ Ribs almost any day. if you include sides, it's not even close.
