Honestly, the only place I've ever gotten it is Fresh Market :/ I get most of my "different" meats there (anything except chicken and ground beef/skirt steak).

They're on sale right now, which is why I'm considering it tonight.

I hope you got a lot of lamb for $30, I bought 5 whole ones for $250 last month

Yeah, but don't you buy from people who hunt and stuff? I don't have those connections.

And I do NOT want a whole lamb I make Jones clean out the guts in a whole chicken from the store.

only white trash actually buys their lamb directly from whole foods. People who really care drive out to farms and crawl through pig shite to get to the meat

Those whole food lambs are filled with harmful hormones, mine are filled with corn and 12% sweet feed

I don't know the right people .. :trashy:

ETA: I actually think buying directly from the farm is awesome. I just don't know farmers.

I hear they sell some at Farmer's Market.

So if I buy my own lamb from the farm and soak it in Italian dressing that I made from fresh herbs grown in my garden - I'm NOT trashy right?

No, the lamb must be fed only homemade Italian dressing and herbs from birth as well as basted in it once a day while alive. It must also be only slaughtered by using that same Italian marinade to drown the animal before cleaning and preparing the animal to be basted in marinade, dry aged, and smoked with pork belly preserves and :insertsnootyfoodieingredienthere:

You're good as long as you don't cook it past medium.

I posted that I put a bottle of italian dressing in my water that I boil seafood in. Someone said my seafood would taste like italian dressing. Ive been doing that for 30 years and have never got a hint of italian dressing flavor in any seafood that ive boiled and eaten.

Italian Dressing has its place....... a fine cut of beef isnt one of them in my opinion.

Then why don't you just drop some olive oil or something in there? Or hell, a stick of butter? Why waste perfectly good steak marinade on crawfish?
