I wanted to love his BBQ sauce, but man, it just wasn't for me. It was a while back that I had it, but I remember it being kind of a hybrid of a traditional sauce mixed with a vinegar based sauce, and it accomplished neither. Too thin, too much spice, not enough sweet.

The wife and I use it in place of astroglide. Worth every bit of eight bucks.

The BBQ sauce isn't very good. How someone fricks up BBQ sauce is beyond me, but the man did it. No wonder he lost that Food Network show

Haven't tried but cattleman's honey BBQ is my favorite generic store bought sauce. Usually only use it w pepper jelly as a marinade though.

Seems like an unnecessary jab.

Where's your BBQ sauce? I'll look for it in stores next time I'm out.

I bought it based on comments on this board. Worst BBQ I have tasted.

I've had some bad sauces, but not this sauce

What made it so bad?

It did come out before his show on tv.

It's ok, but yeah it's not a thick sauce, it's almost more for marinating than as a typical sauce.

Something new on the market has to be a little different.

The taste is there but I've struggled with what to use it on.

Just meh.

I have to have my own BBQ sauce to voice an opinion on BBQ sauce? Sorry, bro, looks like I'm not the only one in here voicing the "it sucks" option

Then you followed it up with a shot at his tv show, that has nothing to do with his BBQ sauce. I've never met him but I can tell he works his tail off. I'll never knock the next persons hustle because I know it's not easy out there. Sorry bro, you're a douche.

This guy seems to be trying to capitalize on his 15 minutes of fame that the Food Network show provided him. His products don't seem to be all that good though.

You done done it now!!!!

Actually Jay is good people, but I haven't tried his sauce but I'd give it a whirl if I came across it.

He didn't have a TV show. He was in a reality tv show, which doesn't take much "hustle" . But I guess he can run for president in a few years.

I bought some to try when it first came out. When I opened the bottle, it started spewing out of the top like a carbonated drink. When it finally quit overflowing I was too scared to taste it. I can't imagine that he put carbonation in it so it must've fermented while in the bottle?

Jay seems like a genuinely nice guy and I enjoyed watching him on Food Network. Never tried his food but would give his sauce another try if it wasn't so expensive.

Yeah, that happened to some bottles from the first batch.

And which show were you on? Since it's so easy, I would assume you have been on a few now. Unless there is no niche market for a straight up troll.

Like or dislike the sauce, that's up to you. Taking shots at someone with a dream sounds like sour grapes. He stole your girl back in grade school didn't he? Personal agendas have nothing to do with the quality of the sauce or the original premise of the discussion.
