Would anyone be interested in a whiskey buy & ship program? The idea is not to make profit (maybe a few dollar markup is fine) but to post pics of some bourbons/whiskeys that are available in your local markets and see if others are interested in buying one and paying the listed cost + tax + shipping. Maybe it'll help people that can't find certain bottles where they live, or others than can only find ridiculous 2nd hand market prices. I belong to one discord that does this and seems to work well (with good, honest people), and figured the F&D board might be a good place for something similar. Thoughts?

It's not a bad idea. However, this thread doesn't have enough geographic diversity or regular contributors for it to really work.
I've swapped samples with a handful of people from here over the last few years. That's not a bad route to take as a second option.
