She moved there about 6 years ago after she got married. They sold their house this last summer, and bought a bigger one like 3 lots down from their old one.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Got my water back today. Felt good to take a proper shower for first time since Monday.

Pulling out this old delightful single barrel.

Toof, if looking to spend around $100. Would you go The Justice, or WJ12?

got power back Thursday evening. Got water back this afternoon. Now just gotta deal with the mess in my bedroom where a fire sprinkler pipe busted in the wall and soaked the walls and carpet. They'll be replacing the sheetrock and the carpet.

bedroom carpet - is this normal?

Hopefully the repairs are on them!

You don't know how much you miss simple stuff, like power and water, till they're gone.

Here's to hoping everything gets fixed soon, and you get back to normal.

I'm in an apartment, so the walls and floor are on them. I just gotta deal with the hassle. Luckily I have a spare bedroom, so I can stay in there while I move stuff out of the master.

Funny, today the apartment office guy and a plumber came in to my place to assess the damage, and saw my booze collection and asked if I owned a package store. Nope, just like the whisk(e)y.

HA HA HA, tell them you'll give them a pour if they put you at the top of the list.

I ended up going back to get the justice earlier in the week. Good first and second impressions. Solid recommendation.

So far, I've got mixed feelings on the vertigo (curated collection). Smooth and complex, but it has an odd note (almost like pine). It's a blend and includes some light whiskey, which I suspect is the culprit. I'm certainly not giving up on it;just not sure if enjoyment will match the price point.
