little high, these bottles go for around $80 retail but I have not had one that was not worth the price
I concur. Sounds stupid I know, I’d pay $80 no doubt but anything $100 and up I’d be hesitant. It’s delicious though for sure.

Trout I’m a fan of that Campfire! That’s definitely a love hate bottle though. Had a friend that I let try it and he almost spit out his first sample. Lol.

Not stupid at all. Do you stretch your $80 limit to buy one of these or 2, 1920s? I’d go with the 2 bottles (even not trying the single barrel). :)
Thanks guys.

So, I was gifted one of these for Christmas
It's cherry wood that you are supposed to add to a bottle of bourbon to "finish" it
I was going to just toss it, but I figured I'd try it on a cheap bottle of whiskey.
I'm thinking Benchmark No 8, Ezra Brooks, Old Forester or Even Williams. What do y'all think will work best with the cherry wood?

For $80 I’d def grab 2 Single Barrels since they are hard to find especially if they are picks. Always keep a bottle of 1920 and 1910 on hand. Love ‘em both but I tend to favor the 1920.

Ah ok well they like their Barrell

Posted on 12/30/22 at 6:16 pm to t00f
That one is a blend from 8 states. None of the locals had it, but I bought a 2022 last week. Looking forward to cracking it tomorrow. It merely has seven states. The 2022 is supposed to be fruit forward while this one is more dessert. I pretty much like everything Barrell does though.

Camping with the cheap cola and some knob creek. A Plasencia to go along with it

FPD 1792 FP TW pick. Chocolate covered cherry bomb

1792 is crazy with the range of quality. It goes from nearly undrinkable to quite good. That sounds like a good one.
Next is another Maisano's pick
