Gents - became a bourbon fan last year, live out in country can’t find much. Told my son if he ever comes across Blantons to get me a bottle - he did.

Indeed they are. Was a scotch drinker for 45 years before retiring, some of ex-colleagues took me out to dinner last summer and noted they have Blantons, tried it and 8 pours later I became a bourbon fan. This site really has been fun, starting off I tried to get the bottles pictured mainly because I didn’t know what was “good”. As I’ve educated myself I have come to appreciate just how knowledgeable most all of you are. A surgery prevented me from going on the bourbon trail last summer, I will make the trip this coming summer. I really love everything about it, especially the history. I have lurked here for about a year, figured it’s time to join in. Cheers!
