How's the ranch regulator? I still need to open mine.

It's good, but I don't find it as amazing as others in the group do.

Absolutely for sure. I grabbed a bottle after having a sample of it last week. I’m halfway through. I’m an Oloroso finish fan and this bottle has it together.

Two great pours. Which 9 year pick? How did they compare?

I don't remember the release, but it was 134 proof. I can't seem to find a listing of releases and should have taken a pic of the bottle. Both of them were really good and had a ton of flavor.

Over the weekend, I went to the Rouses tasting in Denham and had Old Forester 150th Anniversary, Van Winkle 12 yr Lot B, Handy, Weller 12 yr and Michter's 10 yr Rye. Of those 5, the Lot B was the most underwhelming.

That was the first Wines Unlimited (Martin's) pick this year.

Speaking of store picks, 3pd has become one of my favorite bottles. It's also the one I've shared the most.

Dnwsr, how long ago did you get that bottle? I’m heading that way Sunday and plan on stopping during the week. Interested if he still has the port finish but that cigar blend seems interesting.

Call them and ask. They let me pay over the phone for 2 a few weeks back and held them for me until someone could collect them.

I think it was around April. I was shocked when I heard they still had some a month or so back. It really is a must try kind of bottle. Maisano's is supposed to be getting one soon as well. I am a starlight fan in general but this one is on a different level.

They've got a great selection. You will pay a little more for store picks, but the high quality reputation is well deserved based on my experience.

I was there Wednesday, they still had some. Fantastic stuff! You'll be blown away by Lincoln RD if you've never been. I travel all over the state, no one comes close to the bourbon selection as they have. I picked up an Old Forrester SB store pick and an EC SB store pick Wednesday.
