Short 3 days in Kentucky and all I know is that I really need to come back. I was able to hit:

Woodford Reserve
3 Boys Farm Distillery
Stitzel Weller
Old Forester
Jim Beam
Bardstown Bourbon Company
Lux Row

Didn't do tours everywhere but the best one I did was Old Forester. Best experience by far was 3 Boys Farm Distillery. They have 5 barrels pulled and you get to taste each one straight from the barrel. If you decide you want to buy a bottle from one of the barrels, you get to thief and bottle it yourself.

eh…..if i would have tasted it first i would have probably passed. It’s like the Tennessee and Kentucky are both fighting to push through . You can smell both on the nose . Smooth on the pallet . Don’t care for the finish . Cool bottle tho haha

We had the same experience, it was great. The owner wasn't there when we visited but my understanding is that he is from Louisiana.

Looks like a great trip!

Their Manhattan mix is ok, but this one is impressive.

Sounds good! I'm definitely dipping into my purple top for father's day.

I rarely use ice in bottles this good, but the weather and flavor profile are perfect for it.

I’m fairly new to the bourbon thing so what do y’all typically do with empty E.H. Taylor tubes?

Just throw them away?

This one kinda got buried in the back of the cabinet. Glad to rediscover it. Who's getting the Goldberg JD BP?
