For those of you that have been recently, what are some of the can't miss picks from Lincoln Road and Maisanos? I'll be traveling through tomorrow and plan to swing by both.

anything Starlight. Great up and coming craft distillery that LR has been getting picks from. You won't be disappointed.

check to see if they have any BS Four Roses. LR's Old Scout picks are usually really good.

I'm actually headed to Ocean Springs this weekend and am gonna check out Maisano's. Pretty stoked about it.

Metry baws, I got a dumb question. Is it worth it to go to Dorignac's and not Martin's? Not sure what type of selection Dorignac's has.

Only if you want to pay more for the same things. Dorignacs might have a bit more of a selection, but they jack their prices up on most of their product.

They stash stuff and put it out the weekend of Father's Day. Needless to say the prices are ridiculous.

Well thats good to know. I appreciate it. My FOMO arse isn't gonna even attempt to put myself in that position. Shite could get ugly real quick. I'll stick with Martin's and Maisano's.

We're going to Kentucky to do the Bourbon Trail for my father in law's 70th birthday this weekend. My wife and her sister set it all up, so not sure what all we are doing. I'm pretty sure we're going to Buffalo Trace, Bulleit, and Four Roses.

Any suggestions on things to do or see that way? Bottles I should look for?

Stop by Michter's at opening time, they've been putting out sets of Barrel Strength Bourbon and their regular single barrel rye for $180.

I just did the bourbon trail. I’d skip four roses. To me it was the most “run down” of the distilleries and they weren’t offering anything for purchase that you couldn’t get at a local gas station.

We did Heaven hill, Buffalo trace, four roses, willet, Barton 1792, woodford, castle and key, stitzel-weller, and makers.

Some we did actual tours and tastings and some we just walked around and did our own thing and had a few drinks at their bars.

Maisanos has samples for the vast majority of their picks. Take advantage of the opportunity. Also keep in mind they're closed on Sundays over there.

1pd is a starlight double oak Manhattan.
