Old Forester Rye. I like Knob Creek as well, but that OF Rye is probably the best OF I’ve had.

I’m partial to rye OF, my go to is Sazerac, but my favorite is probably Seagrass (although it’s definitely not a traditional OF). I also enjoy Willett and Knob Creek barrel pick ryes (115 proof) for OFs.

This one is pretty good neat (although not as good as the port and sherry finishes), but makes an excellent Manhattan. I use the sagamore double oak quite a bit as well and this favorably compares.

Yep. After 2 experimental pours I’m definitely feeling the ryes are better. The best of the two were one I made with a Mystic Krewe pick of Saz Rye. Really enjoying it.

Yep. The old fashioned I made with 2 oz OF 100 rye, 2 dashes angostura, 4 dashes orange bitters, heavy bar spoon of rich turbinado simple syrup was the best I've made at home
