Interesting. You play baseball? I was in HS in the 90s.
One day, our paths will cross. I went to high school in Marrero, graduated in 93.
I grew up in Westwego but went to high school at John Curtis. Class of 1991.

Curtis! You had to have played football then.

Not trying to turn this great board into an Al Bundy board but I have to believe we have crossed paths. I'm a 93 Higgins grad.
I'd love to know how our paths have crossed, but selfishly, I might need a reference if Tiger Attorney has a spare bottle available. Lol
You must have been a JR or SR hazing Craig, Comeaux, etc.

Why are you assuming that? They may have placed him to help the GPA. Lol.
I'm not that bright but I think that the only way he can prove it to us is to send us a good bottle of bourbon. What are your thoughts Jelly?

You talking Johnny C and C Pierce?
Posted on 2/12/21 at 12:18 am to jflsufan
Both those schmucks. Johnny C from Westwego and Craig from Pard

Yeah I know both of them. Johnny lived around the corner from me so I dropped him off at home after practice. Craig rode with us and I dropped him off at some convenience store near there where his mom or dad would pick him up. I played baseball with Johnny on Westwego all star team. He was so good that he played with 11-12 year olds when he was 10.
Funny story. One day JT Curtis asked me to give rides home after spring practice to this chubby redhead eight grader and drop him off at the K&B on the Westbank Expressway in Westwego where his Mom would pick him up. I told the kid NO when he asked me so JT called me in to his office and said this kid is going to be special and asked me to do him a favor. That kid was Alan Faneca. So Alan Faneca used to squeeze in the back of my Ford Escort with them. He thanked me for the rides after a few weeks and told me he was moving to Houston.

Lol. Faneca turned out to be decent. Lol. Dude is in HOF now. Has he sent any good bourbon or whiskey recommendations your way? Share with the team.
If you chat with Johnny or Craig, send this bums my way

I ran into Faneca at the 2019 aTm tailgate. He vaguely remembered me or at least my car more than me. Was probably just being nice.

Oh yea. I’ve known who you were here for many years. I left you guys at Shoal Creek Saloon to go propose to my wife. Good times.

Yes. It’s Burning Chair and it’s aged in 3 different types of wine barrels. I’m on my second bottle.

Outside of the rivalry though, I’ve always had mad respect for Jesuit. Great school.
