Anyone here planning on going to one of the Grand Tastings for the NOLA Bourbon Fest? I’m going for sure but haven’t decided what night yet. Would be cool to meet you guys over some pours.

Not sure yet either. Thing for me is not sure I am interested in most of the bottles. There use to list what was being served. Need to see if that is still the case.

If you google NOLA Bourbon Fest it will take you to their page where you can purchase tickets. Also lists vendors that will be the there.

Looking forward to trying that good times. I thought the chocolate was decent, but have a feeling this will be a good bit better.

Very interesting on the neck pour. Def can pick up the honey on the back end. The toasted is there but the rye makes it hot. The honey is definitely there but very soft and not crazy sweet. Excellent touch. It’s a bit hot probably because it's young but also could be neck pour. Looking forward to revisiting it in a few and maybe a small cube of ice may change it bigly.

Honey barrels done right are awesome. The Lone Elm one I got from Elios is terrific
