Todays haul. Ecstatic to find this Glendronach 18. That Stranahan sherry finished was simply too interesting to pass up. It’s all my 1PD

It’s a great pour. Was my first go to scotch actually. Oban 18 turned me on to scotch, it it’s 130 a bottle. At 55-60 the craigalachie was my first that I really liked in that price range and became my standard.

How’s the Stranahan? I had the Diamond Peak and just finished the bottle a few months ago. Very much enjoyed it. That Sherry finish seems interesting.

Very good! It was a risky bling buy, since I’ve never had any stranahans before. I’ve heard good things, but this was my first sip into it. I’m a sucker for sherry finishes, so gave it a chance. It’s quite unique in its own right. It reminds me a lot of those red hard cinnamon candies in those red plastic wrappers.

Yo GT! Thanks baw! This glass is fire, and I concur with the rest that those praline stuffed cookies are stupid. My wife almost fought me for mine after I gave her one. 
I have, and I loved it. JellyClown busted it out for me one night a few months back. I do have the 12, which is very good, but that Abunduh is special.
1PD. After crushing that Stranahans sherry cask last night, I came across their Diamond release at another rouses today. Grabbed it, and now I am an instant fan of this wonderful distillery. I saw a video a while back of craft distillers saying what their favorite whiskeys are, and 2 of them said Stranahans in Colorado. They said those guys are doing something special out there. I’ve been meaning to try it, and now I’m hooked.
