I’ve heard this is good. Will grab a bottle if I ever see it. How’s that Placencia? Been meaning to try those.
1PD is some Campbeltown sweet peat with a Perez Carrillo La Historia. Taking in this lovely weather while watching the dogs play in the yard and some beans on the stove.

Woodford was my gateway from Crown/water and Jack/7 to sipping good stuff. Holds a special place in my heart.
Switching to some dark stuff. 3PD is early 21 bookers (haven’t found the latest release yet). Had a half bottle of Rhône’s wine earlier before all of this, so yeah I’m feeling good right now.

Can y'all recommend me, as someone newer to whiskey, a wheated bourbon? Something actually available please. Not regular makers. I remember not really liking it when I had a pour a few months back.

Maker's is a wheated bourbon you can find anywhere. Try Maker's 46 for a upgrade. Rebel 100 is surprisingly good and cheap. Weller special reserve, when you can find it, works too. Larceny is another.

I'd look for some Maker's store picks. Maker's also does a special release every year that I think should come out soon that's usually really good

It's wheated, 100 proof and only $18. Personally I like it better than Makers as well as the weller green and red labels that go on the aftermarket for over $100. Seriously, it is a fantastic whiskey for the price.
