yeah I'm in town usually once a month. I've had both the red and the blue and I prefer the blue, but I'm also partial to high proof.

What was Acquistapace charging for the blue?

100, which I believe is their MSRP from what I understand of it

this blue was great as is, but I put a few drops of water in it and thought it was better with the water. I liked it both ways for certain though.

Was hoping some of you could help me out a little. Our ABC (Yeah I know hate them) over here started doing these limited releases and they release a list of whats available on the 3rd Sat of the month. Here is this months list.

BUFFALO TRACE BOURBON 90 PR. 750 ML
EAGLE RARE SINGLE BARREL BOURBON 90 PR. 10 YR. 750 ML
BLANTONS BOURBON 93 PR. 750 ML
BUFFALO TRACE BOURBON CREAM LIQUEUR 30 PR. 750 ML
OLD FORESTER BIRTHDAY BOURBON 104 PR. 750 ML
WELLER ANTIQUE 107 BOURBON 107 PR. 7 YR. 750 ML
E.H. TAYLOR JR. SMALL BATCH BOURBON B.I.B 100 PR. 7 YR. 750
JOHN J. BOWMAN BOURBON 100 PR. 750 ML
CANADIAN CLUB CHRONICLES CANADIAN WHISKY 90 PR. 43 YR.
HENRY MCKENNA SINGLE BARREL BOURBON 100 PR. 10 YR. 750 ML
ISSAC BOWMAN PORT BARREL FINISH BOURBON 92 PR. 750 ML
MAKERS MARK WOOD FINISHING SERIES BOURBON 108 PR. 750 ML
HIGH N WICKED #1 THE HONORABLE BOURBON 90 PR. 12 YR. 750 ML

Browsing around online that Old Forrester seems to go for thousands depending on the year (this would be 2021). I can only get two bottle but was thinking the Weller 107 and Old Forrester are the best two on the list. Would love some other opinions.

Our big yearly limited release is coming on 12/11 and will include the rarest of the rares. 8 stores in the state are selected and 100 positions in line in a sweepstakes format. If you are lucky enough to land spots 1-6 at any store you should be able to get a bottle of Pappy but they haven't released the list for this year yet.

the weller 107 and the old forrester would be a good combo. If you can get 2 of the birthday bourbon, go for it. You may be able to trade one for something interesting. Next on my list would be the EHT small batch.

These are the two best of the bunch. Weller is overrated imo.

The Bourbon House pick that just came in blows the Elios out completely. A couple of bottles fell off a truck for me.

There will be a big release out of the Commissary when they get fully up and running soon. It was a pretty high yield. I think there will still be 100-150 bottles hit the shelf that day. I will see if I can get the heads up for the board.

4 barrels came to the state. Elios, Houston, Bourbon House, and? Does anyone know the 4th?
