I wasn't referring to you in particular, as I said there are people who go out and wipe out the entire selection (buying multiple cases at once) and I just don't get that.

Yeah I’ve seen it constantly and I just don’t get it
1. You’re an a-hole for doing it
2. I like ER has a lower priced bourbon for the quality, but not nearly enough to run and hoard it if you hear someone has it in stock

When did this start?

ER is one of the best bourbons around, regardless of price. I’d put ER over Blantons any day, and Blantons is $20-$30 more a bottle.

EHT is my favorite and you use to be able to find it all day long on shelves. Now it’s allocated.

I quit buying everything that hits the shelves. I basically buy four things, ER, EHT, Weller, & BT. All of these bottles are under $40, some of the best bourbons around.

It is the last decent bottle that is somewhat attainable to get that is made by Buffalo Trace. If you ask for anything above it from BT they will laugh you out of the store. With that said, I do not see it very often and it was especially scarce around the holidays. Since then more has dropped. Not a bad idea to get a back up or two if its a daily drinker.

Ok, who is this? He must have walked up right after me because that’s exactly what the shelf looked like when I walked away

If these assholes keep up these shenanigans we won’t be able to find it at all.

But currently, in the past week I’ve seen it at 3 different places, and in the past month I’ve seen it at 2 others.

Now EHT on the other hand? I haven’t seen that in a while.

TW here in Lafayette was selling ER for $38, I bought a bottle from a local store a few days earlier for $29. Hell even Champagne's sold their store pick for $35

I should have clarified. Bottles I can actually buy from the distributor LOL. I have been able to buy BT and ER...about 3 years ago. They don’t allow me to buy it now although I haven’t tried in a bit. I sold 100 bottles each of Sazerac, herbsaint, and bitters that I think are all sazerac product for one project in one day. They let me get 1 bottle of Blanton's for it
