Nice. Is that better than Elmer T Lee?

Anyone ever tried the Van Winkle Reserve Lot B 12 year old? Wife was given a bottle yesterday.

I have. I've tried three or 4 different Pappy's and it's my least favorite. I may be mistaking it with another but I think Lot B is pretty universally looked at as disappointing.

Congrats though. It's still Pappy and a great conversation pour.

Lot B is good. I feel like it is looked down upon in relation to some of the other van winkle because it is 90 proof. Essentially it is supposed to be an exceptional version of Weller 12.

After a long day of wine, time to change pace with some sagamore 6 Rye Summer Pine. Hate to see it go.

Big Country, how is the OF Barrel Proof. I think I saw that today and passed it up. Ended up getting Penelope Tokaji Cask Rye.

The few I’ve had are pretty good. Some are better than others, but they’re all flavor bombs. My current favorite is the Bayouside store pick. It’s got far more cherry than the TW and Rouse’s picks I have. Resembles a hopped up 1920.

Might have to swing on by and grab one if they have some left.

Favorite bottle lately has been Rare Character Limited Release #6. Straight rye whiskey.
