Tried the JD heritage toasted tonight. It's a good bottle, but I think I prefer the SB rye over it. Wish I still had some left to do a side by side

It's... interesting. I'm not sure what I think about it yet.

I love the JD SBBP Rye. I’ve got multiple bottles. Anyone try the SBBP Tennessee Whiskey? I’m interested if it’s a solid option.

It is solid, but most i’ve had has that Brown Forman Bananas Foster/ Banana Bread note. I enjoy it but I know some folks don’t.

Sounds like my palate. I’ll have to snag a bottle.

The most similar bottle to it is the blue label Old Forester barrel strength

I’m not a booze drinker. Got this as a gift. It’s wasted on me. It may as well be Jim Beam. I couldn’t tell the difference. I’m sure it’s wonderful though to someone who isn’t a heathen.

1792 is the same distillery that makes Costco's Kirkland house brand bourbon line. It's good stuff.

Keep that friend close.

Anyone local grab those Oak and Eden bottles at River Ridge Discount? 2 for $20, steal of the century. I did.

I used to drive by their distillery pretty regularly since they opened not so much these last few months.

I guess I don't venture to the F&D board very often or I'd have probably been more regular in this thread. Been doing an annual tasting with some friends for the last decade.

What do the acronyms mean? First pour of the day?
