I've just about knocked out my bottle of this.
Any other wheateds around that price range and proof I should grab after finishing this?

I assume you've had Penelope Wheated.....???

Weller 107 (any Weller but this is my favorite followed by full proof and excluding wlw obviously), Heaven Hill GTG, Old Fitz, 1792 sweet wheat, Holladay Soft Red Wheat Bourbon Rickhouse Proof or the regular SRW. Also heard good things about Green River Barrel Strength Wheated Bourbon; however, I haven’t tried it.

Thankfully it's easy to find in BR. Saw a place in BR had that toasted Jack too. I think the JD rye BP is going to be my next buy from JD

Walked into a Chevron and there it was. First pour kinda meh. Might be too complex for me. Getting a soap/cilantro note that I don't like. Betting time makes it better.

Russell’s 10 hits every note I love. What an underrated bottle.

A serious question to you guys.
I went to one of my go to bourbon places in Lafayette this morning. They are selling bundles ( for example they had EHT Single Barrel paired with fireball) had a discussion with the lady behind the counter they had 1792 bonded, full proof, and single barrel paired with vodka. I asked the lady if they sale the single barrel by itself. She said these are allocated bourbons. I said no they are not. I wasn’t going to argue with her I’ve been buying the single barrel all year long at its twin store. I don’t like the idea of stores trying to make some bourbons allocated. Hell the same store a couple of weeks ago had regular buffalo trace limit one per person. I asked to see a bottle to confirm that it was a regular bottle and it was regular straight bourbon. I asked the girl why is this one person and she said it’s allocated. I said I can get this at any super 1. What are your thoughts about the tactics they are using?
Just to be clear the 1792 single barrel was paired with fireball. I know they are trying to sell stuff they can’t move but it rubs me the wrong way when you classify something as allocated.

Sazerac has distribution set up where sales of things like Fireball and Wheatly are tied to getting more desirable bottles. By bundling they are able to move a combination of bottles that help them get more allocated bottles.

I understand but 1792 single barrel and bonded are not allocated bourbons just like regular buffalo trace.
