Is that a new release? I’ve got some connections and want to start asking around.

Not sure. Buddy of mine has an insider connection at BT. From what I understand it's damned near impossible to find. You'll see it on secondary markets for around $300.

It's 131 proof

FPD

At 137.1 proof this drinks remarkably lower, the nose does not give off any ethanol and is flavorful with notes of Carmel, baking spice/sugar, banana and
Fruits. The palate is mostly brown sugar, the finish is hot for about 5 seconds but settles into a medium to long flavorful warm finish. This is a neck pour with with no water or ice, I’m looking forward to it opening up. Cheers.

I look at the online inventory for a couple of the TW closer to town, and they're very rarely correct or up to date. I've never found anything at my local TW, but I rarely go on Wed + Thu when they get shipments.

Yeah, the single barrels are everywhere. Find stuff in Nola / Metairie that's impossible to find here, and there is plenty vice versa.

Not a blood relative but a "friend" that was as close as a brother that contracted ALS at 42 and it took him at 44. That was 23 years ago and I still hit the brown stuff pretty hard on the anniversary of his passing. The wife just goes to bed early and leaves me to my bourbon.

Damn I miss that guy.
