[quote]Any good Manhattan and Old Fashion recipes?[/quote
It’s basically two to one
Two shots of bourbon preferably something with a good bit of rye and 1 shot of sweet vermouth and add a couple of black cherries and your good
If you have weak women do 1-1 ratio
This is the Manhattan

Got lucky and caught this one as it was being taken out of the box. Could only find two reviews, and both give it very high ratings. Plan to crack it this weekend.

What do y’all do with bottles you don’t really care for? Old fashions? Cocktails?
Ice, banana liqueur and black walnut bitters. So good and the bourbon/rye doesn't matter as much as in a true Old Fashioned.

Old Fashion recipes?

Old Fashioned

2 oz Rye
.25 oz Demerara simple syrup (oftentimes this gets skipped)
3 dashes Peychaud’s (or Angostura)
2 Luxardo cherries
Orange peel garnish (expressed)

A lot of times I’ll skip the simple syrup and just add a bar spoon of the luxardo cherry syrup.

Has anyone here tried the Buffalo Trace/Chris Stapleton "Traveller" whiskey? Saw it in the local ABC store yesterday.

Decisions are easy.

One of each. The rye being the best
