$49 for a 10 year award winning bourbon isn't a bad price actually, even though msrp is $30. There are shite tons of $50-$80 bottles on shelves that don't stand up to HM10.

I don't hunt for HM10 so I wouldn't pay that, but for someone who does I bet they wouldn't flinch.

Having said that, the pig had a dozen bottles turding last month...... for $59.99

Pig is super hit or miss. I like their barrel picks. None of their allocated pricing is worth a frick but someone goes in there and pays it because they don't sit behind the register long. Mid tier bottles they usually do okay with pricing.

yeah. they always seem to have 4R select on their shelf and it's priced correct at $55.

paying price gougers supports that terrible practice. It's becoming even more of a problem the last couple of years, and it's this mindset that allows it to persist. There are too many options on the shelves and too many places to shop to justify paying more than retail on any of these bottles.

ETA: I don't mean that as an attack on you, so don't mistake my point. I'm speaking in general to the idea of paying the hiked pricing.

Just be thankful you Louisiana folks can buy it somewhere other than liquor stores. MS sucks in that regard. Same with store hours being regulated.

I buy little at Rouses and will not go running around this weekend looking for bottles. I do buy Zuppardos barrel picks tho, they do a good job.

Just went to burbank/lee. They claim they didn’t get anything (yet). Bluebonnet hasn’t ever gotten anything I think. The spots are juban’s crossing and airline/antioch imo

I stopped at my Rouses this am just to check. Problem is they usually don’t put special stuff out until after 9 which is when I have to be at work.

I did pick up a 1792 small batch. It was the only one.

MDS, you and some of the northshore crew go hit up the Rouses. Bring the bottles to our bottle share.

I would go, but i'm too lazy.

Different for each manager, but some do put it out at 9, that’s when they get there

Supposedly this isn't a "normal" shipment. It's coming from Donny Rouse's "stash". So, who knows when it's going to actually be put on shelves, and what is going to be put out. I've already heard of one person getting a GTS and another getting a WLW.
