Made it to Bunkie and my buddy from Lafayette drove up to share some pours. Great night. I may have missed some. There also may be some T-Jim hog head cheese and some of my moms shrimp creole in here.

Bardstown origin series wheated BiB and the Bardstown foursquare collab were both the stand out favorites from both of us.

Interesting , but also not too surprising. I just had those together a few weeks ago. The origin is such a good pour for the price. I've been slowly working through the Foursquare due to the cost, but definitely enjoy it. Bardstown has really impressed me (didn't get to try it before it hit Louisiana).
First for me is an easy sipping cocktail (boulevardier).

I still don't know what barrell was hoping to accomplish with the stellum line. Initially I assumed it was the "affordable" line. Naturally they came out with the black label shortly thereafter. And now Barrell has scrapped the cask strength only model for an affordable blend. Confusion aside I've been happy to drink a lot of their products. What do you think of this one?

I popped it open w/ wickowick and we both agreed at. $60 price point it’s pretty damn good. Even though it says 5 years, part of the blend is 9 year.

They are masters of blending. I'm going to have to check it out soon.
This is my present. Ran across it on the shelf at Maisano's. Merry Christmas everyone.

Merry Christmas peeps! It’s been a minute. Always enjoy the finished series from High West this time of year. This one doesn’t disappoint.
