Funky but good. Like an olive. Have to grab another for some odd reason.
I definitely had high fermented fruit up front. Maybe plum like. Peanut brown sugar way on the back end. Better as I sipped on to the end.

It's a good rye, especially for the price relative to other Bardstown offerings.

The BiB wheated origin series is lights out though if you come across it.

I enjoy it too, although not as much as their original bourbon and rye mashbills. I can see why some aren't happy with the price, but to me, what's in the glass is quite good.

That hirsch cognac is great! Considering where Willett prices are these days, it's also a very good value. The double oak from this year is good, but not quite on that level.
