Wife came home with a bottle of angels envy after I told her to pick a bottle. Instructions were anything over $30. This shite is amazing! 2 chilled whiskey stones to cool it down and I couldn't be more impressed.

Blantons still my favorite affordable daily whiskey, but this might turn into my second! Sorry Woodford and Balvenie Doublewood 12... Y'all have been demoted to tied for third.

What is the board's opinion on this? I've always been a Jack drinker and saw this yesterday.

Was $160. I asked if there was a discount for buying 2 and they said they'd cover the tax if I bought 2.

I really enjoyed it. Smoother than regular Jack in my opinion but it was pretty tough just by itself. I liked it much better after I added the ice ball and waited about 5 mins. That being said, I don't think it's worth $160. I'd rather Single Barrel I think but I had to satisfy my curiosity. The packaging is really cool though if that counts for anything.

I never had it but thats probably exactly what I would think as well...I would spend the 160 on other stuff out there and skip the fancy bottle.

Fair enough. Curiosity got the best of me. At least it's not horrible!

Tovolo spheres are nice but I use the giant cubes too. You can make 6 at a time vs 1 or 2

Don't know much about jack Sinatra. What is different about? Seen several for about $175-$199 a bottle.

It's not terribly different from Jack Daniels single barrel. It puts grooves in its barrel with the notion that the grooves impart a different flavor profile. I found there not to be much of a difference. It has the same mash bill as everything else they sell.

If you want some good tasting Tennessee whiskey, grab a bottle of George Dickel Barrel Select. It is a superior product over anything Jack Daniels has put out, and it's 1/4th the price of Sinatra.

They use different barrels with grooves so it gives it an oakier taste than normal Jack. And, they bottle it at 90 proof, the way it was back when Frank was around.
