I like it. Very easy sipper. Good amounts of oak and vanilla but nothing overpowering. Nice lingering spice on the finish.

My only complaint is it should have been bottled at 101 proof instead of 91. I feel at 91 proof it is just slightly thin.

Couple sugar cubes
4 dashes of bitters
Cherry
2 shots bourbon

I don't measure anything. Just kinda throw it together. Always tastes good to me.

Unc have you tried the Barterhouse? Is it worth $100 (including shipping)? I could pick up another Booker's 25 for that.......

I think barterhouse is really good.. Just as good or better than B25. Just depends if you want barrel proof stuff or not I guess.

Hard to say which I would choose over the other... Ahhh... Probably the B25, just because I love some burn

Got a bottle of 25th waiting in Boomtown (God's country) for me...

Until then, a few more I picked up in Memphis

And figured it was time to start one of these

ETA: Figured it wouldn't hurt to have it settle in a JPS 17 bottle for a week or so

Going to start here instead of starting a new thread. I want to get away from mixed crown drinks.

It's time to be a man.

Bourbon wise, what is y'all's opinion of the best beginner sipping. Someone told me Dickel No. 12 is pretty sweet and mild. Of course there is Makers Mark as well.

Give me some tips here fellas.
