Have been seeing people trying to give away bookers 25th for cost and not many bites. So in order to get btac I would think min 2 for handy and 3 min for anything else. To be honest 3 bookers is still not in the ballpark of quality of btac. Pappy is not even a thought to be honest.

Agree with gmrkr, even for this year's BTAC, it'll probably cost you two Bookers 25th. Most of them on there are going for cost + shipping. If you want it to gain value, you'll likely need to sit on it for quite some time.

Yes, the bottle was given to me by a friend. He's an eccentric old dude with one HELL of a wine/spirits collection. His wine collection is mind boggling to say the least! Anyway, last night I was over there for dinner with a mutual friend and we were digging through his liquor cabinet...low and behold we came across this bottle with about an inch of dust on it. I commented about how lucky he was to have that and I wish I had a bottle. His reply....
"Take it, drink it, enjoy it"
AND.I.DID!
haven't cracked it open yet, but plan to at some point

And thats the 2nd release of it with the gold wax....first is the blue wax and last was the gold foil and gold foil in the humidor set. He gave you a ~$800 bottle of bourbon.

I realized this after I got home and did a little research. I knew I had my hands on a VERY good bottle, but didn't realize just how good. I'm a lucky gal, and my friend is a very generous person.
Having said that, I would kill to have the collection that some of you guys have. I have a pretty modest collection going...about 30 bottles of various bourbons/whiskeys. I have read through this entire thread over the last few months and there's been some great recommendations. I'll be posting on here more if you guys don't mind?
