I love the wine and martinis too! But I love me some good bourbon and whiskey. My dad is a bourbon man and he would let me sip his "turkey sandwich" (wild turkey and coke) when I was a little kid. I developed a taste for it and now the old man and I will sit down for a glass and shoot the breeze

He likes his neat, I tend to have mine with a little ice. I have one of the big cube trays a lot of you guys have and that's what I use.

I know a lot of you are on the bx thingamajiggy, but I was wondering if any of you would be interested in maybe working out something along the same lines via here? I know there are bourbons that are plentiful here, but damn near impossible to find in LA (Angel's Envy for instance)...
I can't for the life of me get my hands on any Weller 12 year. I have OWA 107 (LOVE it btw) and Special Reserve (not great, but still pretty good). Those are just a couple examples I can think of off the top of my head. Anyone interested in a swap? I have a few I'm looking for that just aren't available here in SC for whatever reason.

TIA

Depends. Can you offer us any assurances that you aren't an undercover operative from the craft beer threads? Apparently we have been feuding with them.

stopped by the local shop, bought these...anxious to try the Barterhouse.

also, they had a couple more bottles of the Barterhouse, a couple of Old Blowhard, and Jefferson's Ocean Aged. Don't know if anyone is interested, but they are there and I could hook you up

It's the first ER 10 I've seen here in AGES. I got the last bottle. I got lucky I guess

Allot of people have a hard time finding it... Rouses does multiple barrel selects of ER10, Buffalo trace, and blantons so they usually always have it... I was told that they bought 500 barrels of blantons alone this year

Buffalo Trace is my go to/everyday bourbon. I love the stuff. It's the best bang for the buck!

JackD, I'm serious about the Weller 12. Not a single store in town carries it (hell I'm not sure I can get it in SC at all). I would make it worth your while if you could help a gal out.
