probably the best whiskey I've had to-date

Speaking of that, fresh delivery from BX (so had to pay a lot more than that price tag, unfortunately)

I am the guy that got the Pappy 20 at Hokus Pocus the night before Thanksgiving. I have yet to pop the cork.

I have gone through some good bottles since then, Thomas Handy, Woodford Double Barrel (my favorite so far), EC25 (that I caught my wife mixing with Dr Pepper one night).

I need a GOOD occasion to pop that top.

I'd actually pay just to taste bourbon with you. I pretty much just lurk this thread because I do more beer than bourbon, but man. You always have awesome stuff.

Yes, it did sting a bit, but not as much as the recent Pappy haul

Ended up paying right at BBB for all of them, but now I get to open some of my current bottles since I have 2 of them.

I think there's a lot of us like that. If I only have one bottle of something rare, it has to be a REALLY special occasion to open it. If I have two of something, I can celebrate some interesting things to make an excuse to open one

Now there are two whiskeys in LA...insider told me they have a straight bourbon aging now called Bourbon Dufour...they're concerned about the angel's share from the heat and humidity
