It seems like this ends up meaning faster aged whiskey, for better or worse. See Jefferson's Ocean. They should just focus on aging properly.

It's no worse than Texas and not nearly as bad as fricking India.

I think there's a lot of us like that. If I only have one bottle of something rare, it has to be a REALLY special occasion to open it. If I have two of something, I can celebrate some interesting things to make an excuse to open one

Lol, that is EXACTLY how I view it.

Finished off a bottle Single Oak Project tonight. I need to make room for a couple BX purchases on the way.

Now I'm having some more Booker's 25th. I really really like this stuff. I'm a fan of regular Booker's but I don't mind the extra money for a bottle of the 25th. It's obviously better in my opinion.

I'd actually pay just to taste bourbon with you. I pretty much just lurk this thread because I do more beer than bourbon, but man. You always have awesome stuff.

If you're ever around Jackson, MS, just let me know. Always enjoy tasting with some folks

I finally got a bottle of the 13 year cousin of Pappy so the family portrait is complete. Since we supposedly don't share tips with each other for obtaining bottles, for those looking for tips to get Pappy products, just get your wallets ready and go online
