2012 four rose single barrel to me seemed to be a bit more harsh than crown. fwtw

I doubt the age stated stuff is that much better to warrant that price. Basically double what you pay for it now and that bottle was probably a decent amount cheaper (than what's available now) when it was at retail.

Is the very old still that good? I've found it online for $35 at a couple places.

For $40,woukd you go with with EHT SmB or Jeffersons very old?

both are very good. The Jefferson will be much older bourbon, but it would be a coin flip.

Looks like these are hitting the shelves. I'm looking forward to trying the barterhouse.. I don't think the blowhard will be worth the $150 price tag.
