I'm the only coffee drinker in the house, so coffee is cheap at home, only gets brewed on weekends
tell me about the Weller's ....

Wellers are awesome if you're a wheated bourbon guy. They're made from the same mashbill as pappy so will have a similar taste profile. There's old weller antique 107, Weller 12 Year, and Weller reserve. I enjoy them all but prefer them listed in that order.
Someone came up with the idea to mix OWA107 and Weller 12 to create a "poor man's pappy"... I think it's really good but not near as good as pvw.
Most areas carry the weller reserve (youngest of the 3) but the 12 and 107 can be spotty depending on location.

I saw a notice in my email that it arrived today. I'm out of town so it's sitting in the front office of my apt complex. I'll be back tomorrow and will let you know.
My buddy and I just each got a bottle of Jefferson Ocean in BR today. If I find anymore, I'll try to grab one for you.

Problem is you're probably right. I've gotten several new bottles in the last few weeks but don't want to have more opened yet. Guess I need to get to drinking and have some folks over to drink some too.

Yup. There were 2 just sitting there for the taking. I had to take a double look to make sure. Both are from the second release.

I am looking at swapping a bottle of old rip van winkle 10 yr 2013. What do you guys think I can expect back? I am really looking for bottles 15 yrs plus.

Damn where at? And I guess last two?

MO the blended was quite a bit better than the other two alone. I was surprised that I preferred the 107 to 12 also.. I guess my love for higher proofs comes into play there.
Good to hear. I just bought some OWA 107 and 12 this weekend to do this. Haven't gotten around to mixing them yet

hard to say... last bottle I bought of the 10yr was $100 and even though that's a little more than double retail, you aint finding it retail. I dont know if you would be able to swap 1:1 for any of the BTACs, maybe Handy. That being said, you never know on BX. I couldn't believe I got that '11 wlw for $150 bucks worth of Handy. The cash price to buy would have been WAY higher. So you never know, you may be able to get something like a ER17 for it.

Cubans. Yeah, last 2 there. They said they had only gotten a couple bottles. Went to Alexander's, Martins and Calandros also and they didn't have any.

Trades are much better on BX. A lot of folks will rationalize with the original retail values but the ones who play the game well know the secondary values well.

Yep... This guy seemed to be a little newer on the scene and had a thing for rye. maybe he knew what he had in the wlw and just really wanted that Handy. I felt like I came out on top on that one though.
