Thanks man! I actually did get an OFBB 13 this year. It's about 80% gone now

if i stumble across a bottle i will let you know. My town also has taylor barrel proof and single barrel if you need.

Saw that. It was getting out of hand with the ridiculous flippers. Personally, I think they should only allow traders and those who are selling at reasonable prices. It was giving an easy site for the flippers who only bought to sell at big profits.

Dunno why.. Wrong person got wind of it. Most of the prices were ridiculous but once in a while you'd find someone selling Things like OFBB or ECBP for retail.

This thread is great, but BX was entertaining because of the crazy bottles that would pop up every week - things that were more rare than anything in the Bonham's Whiskey Auction. Luckily I still have messages from some of the more active members so hopefully I can keep some trades going.
I am feeling a certain amount of schadenfreude for those folks who bought all the Pappy and BTAC their town had only to post them for sale with pictures in the parking lot - for 4x what they paid. There are going to be lots of angry wives and girlfriends this Christmas season when those bottles go unsold.

Not at all. I will give some credit to bx for turning me to some reasonably priced, infinitely more attainable bottles in my quest for the Eleanors of bourbon.

Was able to score another OFBB 2013 today. I had grabbed 2 online, but was able to get one locally today so it finally made it's way to MS. Also grabbed one of the 4Roses Single Barrel Sets which looks pretty nice.

That's actually the 2010 release. They found a few boxes in the back with those bottles when they were remodeling. It's dang good and only $30 something. I've got a few of those bottles.
