So I was looking around the internet, and I saw a bottle of Michter's Celebration Sour Mash for $285. They didn't have a picture or a description, so I am not sure if it is different than the Michter's Celebration Limited Edition Sour Mash, or if they erroneously left off the Limited Edition.

Can anyone confirm if these are two different bourbons? I see a lot of articles talking about a $4000 price point, which makes me think this isn't the same. Of course, that price is absurd, and maybe they now realize that.

Yea never send before payment on anything online. That's just begging to get scammed. They don't like it...tuff someone else will.

One major flaw of the BX is that many of its members are old people who have little experience with online transactions. It's probably not a scam - risking federal prison for a few hundred bucks is something most criminals know not to do - but it isn't proper etiquette either.

I had too look up what this was, and i found this excerpt

Buyers of the beer receive a receipt with Niet verder verkopen ("Do not resell") printed on it. The abbey is very much against resale of their beer, and it is their wish that the beer is only commercially available at the two official sale points. To this end, any Westvleteren beer which is sold anywhere else in the world is grey market beer, as no wholesalers or pubs are supplied with the beer. The abbey is actively working to eliminate the illicit sales,[7] and generally only agrees to media interviews to spread their message against drinking illicitly sold Westvleteren beer.[8]
