It's a good pour. Be mindful that barrel proofs are a bit harsher than most. A solid purchase though.

So apparently Lenells Red Hook Rye Barrel #1 elicits some good trade offers...Pretty much the Pappy allocation for Louisiana this year.

Pepe, I love it. Bought 3 bottles. It's a good summer bourbon. Light, fruity, and a good finish but it also has a lot going on. Gotta be the 4 grain. I get the smooth wheat but the kick of rye on the back end.

My business partner has a connect in Florida that owns some liquor store. He said Barrel 1 would cost us 1600 and Barrel 2 1200. We dragged our feet yesterday so we are finding out this morning if we can still get both. He is keeping his...I'm going to trade mine. I can still try some if his and stock a high end bar for a long time.

Yea something around that. I had a early 2.x and remembered liking it. Then I had a later 2.8 or something and didn't. I have a sample of 3.0 but haven't tried it yet.
