I've never tried Woodford Reserve but everyone claims I need to try it. Is it as smooth as Gentleman Jack?

I wonder if the regions do their own picks or if it really is store by store. The one by my office in Dallas has had some great ones.

They had a Buffalo Trace pick back in 2018 that is up there with the Mystic Krewe pick as one of best BT I ever had.
Haven’t tried any other picks there though.

First time posting. I enjoy an old fashioned more than a neat glass, but I can dig it every now and then. I don’t have a real developed pallet for different bourbon tastes, so I usually just stick with the small batch stuff I can find at local spots. Anyhow, went to buy some Bulleit and a ran into an older man who told me this stuff was good. Not bad, but again, no huge difference from the stuff I normally sip on.

You can’t go wrong with any Col EHT neat. That is probably top 3 brand for a neat drink. You may wanna try adding one ice cube, let sit for a couple minutes, and drink. You might like it even better (even tho it’s not neat anymore).
