I saw Zuppardos has store picks of Elijah Craig, Eagle Rare, and Buffalo Trace. Anyone tried any of them?

Picked up this 15 yr old Knob creek single barrel from Hokus. Hope it's good.

I don't want to open this.
It's only the 20th bottle from them.

Just trying to keep as a Souvenir.
Talked to the distiller and he literally said he loves all things Louisiana.

What would Joe Burreaux Do?

Bug ac, if only you were a friends with a guy with about 100 whiskey bottles open at his house...if only that were the same guy that has been trying to get you into whiskey for years...

Text me when you are in town for Christmas...I will be in town for once.

If only.....

I'll be in town Sunday, but may just be passing through to go to the westbank. I think we are staying the night and coming back Monday. I'll shoot you a text.

So, when you guys get something you've been wanting, and you know it will be tough to ever get it again, how do you decide to open it?

I don't really have a problem with opening it, considering it's bourbon. But i do drink it sparingly.

I usually have one or two pours the night I get it, then only drink it for special occasions after that

Any feedback on Jack Daniel's Bonded in Barrel? I tasted it while traveling and found it exceptionally smooth and easy to drink so I bought two bottles to bring home, one for me and one for a friend.

Is this decently regarded?

I really don’t post much on here anymore unfortunately. Don’t have the time with the actual BSoBR group and all that but we practically started in TD 4.5 years ago. It’s taken that long but we finally have our name on a barrel. Know we have a few members who post on here but thought the rest of y’all would get a kick outta this.

We’re calling him the Wolveryne. Five and a half years old Rye Whiskey from Knob Creek. It’s pretty fantastic. Retails at Oak Point for $42.99 for BSoBR members or $47.99 for everyone else.
