I guess the saying “You make the bed you sleep in” came true today.
Friend picked up the bourbon barrel I made him today, he posted it on FB, I now have orders for four more thanks to him. Plus he bought four stave coasters.
It came out pretty damn nice (that’s mine on the left)

ok i need to vent for a second (i did on the OT as well) but my MiL who is a trainwreck of epic proportions came over to spend the night and see her grandkids Friday.
she's still here.
in the meantime i caught her heading downstairs (she's basically decided the nice basement TV room is great place to live) with a 20oz glass filled to the brim with MY frickING BOURBON.
i went to check to the bar and she's emptied the tequilla, vodka, boxed wine and jameson and put a HUGE frickING DENT in my frickING RUSSELLS and every other bourbon bottle i've left unguarded.
so i literally grabbed everything (except the boxed bourbon) and hid it in my closet. i already hid the blantons from the last time she was over but i'm furious that she is so fricking disrepectful and hasn't so much as asked and has no idea what any of this shite costs shes just going to gobble it down like a fricking water buffalo.

ok i'm fine now but this pisses me off to no end. i didn't spend a shiton of money building up my liquor cabinet so this fricking rude person could go through it like its fricking gatorade.
i know she's family and i know she's a fricking mess but that's a helluva way to repay someone for letting you set up shop in their basement with no end in sight.
