Doubt that, I made a traditional one earlier and this one I am drinking has more cherry to it. I would have to stop at two, just sweet and strong.

Sounds like you need to tweak the recipe. Or maybe I just like them to much

Death Co. is an awesome cocktail book. I've made several of their infusions.

Maybe I've been on beer too long, but I can sit on a Saturday or day off and do 10-15 beers easy. I've done two old fashions so far and I feel these....

I did the calorie thing at 10-15 beers is (using Envie as a baseline since those are 150 calories) would be almost 2k calories. Two bourbons mixed with this stuff is 200 calories apiece

Anyone tried Jefferson Ocean? Pretty awesome. Have not bought a bottle but was in a bar in Knoxville and the bar keep didn't know what it was and poured me several for $5

Never been into scotch, but I had macallan 12 at a Christmas party and was impressed. I'd like to expand my horizons.

Recommend me some quality scotch <$80

I ranked saos as 1b but only because I knew what it was right away. Won't find out what 1a and 2 are til the gf gets back home since I made her pour for me

ETA: So I ended up basically calling it a toss up between mbs and saos with thh in a close second
