Last nightcap of my 20s. Such a peculiar and relaxing pour, great stuff.

Yep not my first bottle of the 14 and won't be the last. Would like to get my hands on the 18.

The 18 is delicious...i am not sure its worth the price jump. Its close. If i had an open bottle, i would give you a sample.

The Oban 18 is good but the Taliskers 18 is better.

I've had the Talisker 10, never the 18. I like the Island and Islay whisky so I'm sure it would be good. Wasn't crazy about the few highlands I had until I tried Oban, maybe because its in the far west of the highland region.

Try Lagavulin. The 8 and 16 are good as is the Distillers Edition. I haven't tried the new 12 barrel strength.
Try Laphroaig 18. Only 18. Do not buy the 10. Any of them. There is a 15 but I have only seen it once... when I bought it. It is solid but the 18 is worth the extra $$.

Lag16 is my favorite whisky anywhere. Had most of Laphroaigs, including the 18. I like the Quarter Cask and Cairdeas most.

Wanted to give y'all an update on the bottle of BT OFC bourbon that I will be raffling. Just heard from BT that the bottle my nonprofit will receive is from 1980, so there are 100 total bottles in this vintage. Bottles are supposed to ship out in December.
Still no word on proof/age/or mash bill. I asked but they aren't saying much at the moment.
We are working on getting the online raffle up and running and will post the link here once it is up and running and i have more info on the whiskey. Tickets will be $25 each.

Bought a couple of these for some Veterans I work with. Never tried it but the bottle was appropriate for today. Damn I just noticed it was Canadian. That sucks

Eagle Rare would have been a good choice.
