what's the board opinion of Rhetoric 21? Have the opportunity to buy a couple of bottles at retail.

I enjoyed it but I like oak bombs. Not everyone agrees on that. I've got a bottle of the 22 I'll probably crack open soon.

They only had two SAOS picks in, both 9 year and similarly proofed at 97 and 99.8. I got to sample them both and the 99.8 blew the 97 away so that's what I went home with.

They had 8 (I think) four rose store picks as well as some whistle pig, eagle rare, belle Meade 9, and too many more to count. Definitely a must stop for me any time I'm in the area from now on

You're going to love that 9 year OS cask strength. I'm jealous you found one of those.

They had 10 bottles of that cask strength SAOS SB9. Just saying wink wink.

I've narrowed my preference down to these brands: EHT, SAOS, EC, and Blanton's (got 6 of the 8 letters). As far as sippers geaux.

I saw an 11 year SAOS Single Barrel Cask Strength. Has anyone tried that one? Any good?

Agreed. That 12 year they have right now is maybe the best one I've had. A great value for $40 IMO.
