I’m going to go get one tomorrow, I’ve read good reviews. I’ve been back and forth between the Hokus or Oak Point pick.

T00f what time did you get yours? Had a friend say he got a bottle around 6 and they still had alot left. He said he ordered online and went kick it up but that option isn’t available anymore. I’m thinking about making a run in the morning. Think they open at 11 but it’s kinda a little ride from Destrehan to go see an empty shelf.

Ardbeg an AO.

Why? Because it's funny seeing someone taste it for the first time

I like it. But you’d better be ready. It’s a campfire in a bottle.

I grabbed an Oak Point as well but haven’t opened it yet. It’s a 7yr at around 121 proof so I’m eager to see the differences between the two.

Oh, they made it out like they were down to a few. I was there around 2:30. They took it off the website so I assumed that was it.

I've got an appointment by there right around 11, and was planning on stopping in. I can grab you a bottle if they still have any. My office is in Metairie if that makes it easier for you to pick up

FPD. Early times for the best of times. This ranks highly in my (quality+availability)/dollar rankings

Man much appreciated but I think I’ll take the ride and see what they got. Maybe if they out I’ll get lucky with something else. But thanks a bunch for the offer.

I'm hearing people say that the C batch is better than the B for the ECBP. Is there really a noticable difference? I have the B, and I saw one bottle left of the C over the weekend. Didn't want to drop the coin on it at the time, but now I'm wondering if I made a mistake.

By the way, I am trying to limit my alcohol intake to Th-Su only. Catching up on this thread is now going to make me break my promise to myself tonight

This is my take as well. The C batch is my favorite from this year.

Some months I take off drinking during the week, other I booze nightly. Nothing crazy but a couple glasses of bourbon.

Just left Elios. $49 and a two bottle limit. They were on the shelf and when I left the shelf had like 3 left but the cashier said she believed they had more in the back but didn’t say how many. If you are around I’d stop but if you have a little distance to travel I’d call first to see if they in stock.

Grabbed a bottle on my lunch break. They had two left on the shelf, but several more over by the counter. Not sure if those were for pick up on orders or not though.
