I like the dist ed more than the regular 16yr and they are both 16s and I usually see the dist ed for less.

I have been killing some bottles lately.

I'm not a pro. Calandros Eagle Rare. The Russels Reserve was fine. Rather have the ER, honestly. I've had ER before. This tastes like a better barrel. Not a snob at all. But I would rather the rye spice of shitty, cheap WT over either. I like rye. And cheap rye. T

And port barrels are awesome. I love it. Whiskey, stouts, whatever. Those tannins are gorgeous.

I really enjoyed the 2015 cask strength. Think the regular bourbon and 2014 CS is meh. I'll have a small pour of the rye when I have a hankering for the sweets, but I can't do more than one.

I love the bourbon. The rye is ok here and there but it's so sweet like above can only do it once.
