Where do stand on smoked, then fried wings?

Where y’at? Might be taking my son to Auburn frequently for football training in the near future.
Moe's BBQ in Auburn (2 locations), has good smoked wings.

This is the one thing TJ Ribs does well. My favorite wings in Baton Rouge but I quit getting them when they went up to $16 an order.

Def how TJ ribs does it and they are terrific. Didn’t realize they were $16 now

Charlie's? I've got family in Clay and Margaret, so I'm in the area often and would love to try.

My favorite as well. Thankfully they are jumbo. I wish they would take it off appetizer menu, reduce quantity a little, and add a side.

That's him. Everything is good there, but he might have the best brisket in Alabama. It's only on Weds though.

Buddy of mine owns a BBQ place here in Alabama. That's the way he does his wings and they are great.
C'mon man...give your buddy some pub. I'm always looking for good bbq joints.

I'm typically not the biggest brisket fan, but I'll try it.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, Charlie's makes the best sandwiches in St Clair County. My wife is a sandwich connoisseur and I remember bringing her one.
Sorry to derail.
Has anyone smoked then air fried?

Definitely, then sauced of course

I like them smoked then fried, but I always go back to simple twice fried wings.

He does a smoked bologna sandwich that I'd fight you for. It’s amazing.

If I ever started a food truck, this is what I would do.
Can smoke the wings in advance.
Flash fry the wings to order and have the sauces for tossing at the ready.

I used to make a meal of them. Sauce on the side. But damn they good pricey...like everything else. Poster above had a good idea about making them an entree with a side. Maybe serve 3-4.
