Mike Anderson’s is very good. Tony’s has been nasty the past few times I’ve picked them up from there.

It’s a good point though, someone needs to ask them.
Its a trademark name that something to do with how they cut it. I cant remember..but its catfish.
Elsie's and Dempsey's are my favorite in BR.

Crawford's is catfish.
Makes me wonder how many places mentioned in this thread are not.

Someone mentioned Robert's on Highland earlier. If you go in and grab fried fish from the hot bar it isn't catfish. If you call or ask and wait they will fry catfish. It is more expensive than what they serve from the bar. I imagine that is the case at many places.

It is a good one, Jacks Seafood on Plank Rd. Across from Krispy Kreme, it’s better than O’Neal, their egg rolls are tops.

Honestly, Elsie’s.
Elsie's isn't known for it, but their fried shrimp and catfish are actually really good!

Yes, and it was surprisingly good! Tastes more like sit-down restaurant food more than fast-service food!
I'll definitely go back there!

What about catfish poboys? Where are the hotspots in BR?
Poboy express has a solid catfish poboy.

I think Bergeron's on Jefferson has the best fried catfish around. Their homemade cocktail sauce is really good too. They have that and fried shrimp every Friday as their hot lunch plates as well as some other good seafood options.

I haven’t had the catfish yet, but their shrimp po’boy is really solid. Big shrimp and a LOT of them on good bread. It’s a solid addition to the br market
