Where can I find good cracklins in New Orleans???

I thought those were so-so. I'm into this thread because it's hard to find what I'm looking for in NOLA. I know one thing, don't mess with Jacob's in LaPlace. Godawful.

They do other things right, but I grabbed a bag of cracklins once to occupy me on a drive to BR and didn't even eat half. Absolute shite.

ive been twice, one time they were really small, like i got the bottom of the bag. The other time really good.

That was my experience. I'm not saying it's always what it is, but I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one. Still, big fan of the place. They do quite a bit right.

The ones I had from Toup's were really good. Comparable to what I've bought in Lafayette. I've only been to Toup's once though.

I got some from a joint at the Wank Seafood Sheds..... they were pretty good. Not as good as Lafayette Cracklins.
